| Weird weekend. |

Well, many things happened, first of all, the most weird one:
-We went to visit our friends for the weekend. They live on the other side of the city so we make a long distance to meet them. We arrived to their home and one of them wanted to go to the 7/11 to buy a Red Bull because she was fallen asleep. It was already nine or ten o' clock, can't remember. When we went back to their home, we had an encounter with a paralithic woman who told us many things about life, apparently she had trouble to pronounce and to speak in a normal currency. After a couple of minutes of speaking she asked us to take her home; as many of you know, the security in México is... well, terrible, you can't trust anybody because you may get kidnapped or raped, but we took this woman to her house anyway.
She started to ask us very personal questions, and I didn't reveal any of my personal data, except my name, just Martha. And we we arrived to her home, it was all dark, there was no one on the streets... so, I told two of my friends to stay behind in case anything bad could happen and my other friend and I walked to her garage. She handed me her key and as I started to open the door my heart started to pound very fast, I just told to myself to open it as quickly as I could, to don't wait any longer to see what was going to happen. I was expecting someone behind the door to punch me in the face and grab me into the house but luckily nothing happened, then, I stepped out the house to hand the woman her key and then she started to walk... I helped her to step in her house and I tried to stay close to the door frame, then she told me to put her wheelchair behind the door... I was prepared to be the badassmofo I always wanted to be and kick some asses in case someone was trying to harm us but nothing happened, then, the woman thanked us and we walked home. To be honest I was very impressed we were safe. I feel very satisfied that we were able to help someone who really needed our help and it's sad that we can't trust anyone in these times... but... pft, I will never forget that, really.
-Yesterday a friend invited us to a party from her career (Philosophy and Hispanic Literature), so we went. At first it was boring because we didn't know anyone but after a couple of drinks (we weren't drunk) we started to make geek jokes with some people. It was nice. |

 Will be home alone for the weekend and part of the next week. Haven't been alone since the beginning of this semester. I'll need to organize my week so I won't get bored. It's kind of exciting... I'll begin my courses on Monday. I hope I did well in the admission test. I'll know if I passed next Friday, I'm so fucking nervous to be honest because the test was mostly about math... I suck at math and the surreal thing is that the Faculty to which I applied is Physics-Math faculty, haha, I'm so stupid but I hope I did well. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I don't celebrate it but still. I wish I could eat some turkey. |
